Maddy Flebbe is a trumpet player based in the Kansas City area. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Instrumental Music Education with a minor in Jazz Studies from the University of Central Oklahoma, as well as a Master of Music in Trumpet Performance from the University of Missouri — Kansas City. Throughout her career, Maddy has performed with a variety of ensembles, including the Fountain City Brass Band, Oklahoma City Jazz Orchestra, Edmond Jazz Orchestra, Kansas City Philharmonia, Lost Wax, St. Joe Big Band, Kansas City Civic Orchestra, Medical Arts Symphony. While at UCO, she was principal trumpet of the Symphony Orchestra and Wind Symphony and played with the UCO Jazz Ensemble I. While at UMKC, she played with the Symphony Orchestra, Wind Symphony, and Jazz Orchestra. She has been teaching private trumpet lessons for 10 years.
